Saint Thomas Aquinas, the Angelic Doctor, gave the Church her most beloved Eucharistic hymns, and in them a whole school of adoration.

The Hidden God prays through his five great hymns, the Adoro Te Devote, the Pange Lingua with its Tantum Ergo, the Panis Angelicus, the O Salutaris Hostia and the Lauda Sion, over fourteen adorations. Each stanza is given in Aquinas's own Latin and in a beloved public domain English, then turned toward our own kneeling: a word of Scripture, a thought to carry, and a prayer.
