Her bones were found in the catacombs of Priscilla in 1802, sealed with the words Pax tecum, Filumena — peace be with you, Philomena. The Church knew little of her but her name, her youth, and her martyrdom, yet the wonders began at once, and the Curé of Ars laid his miracles at her feet. The dear little saint keeps her secrets and answers her clients.
