St. Mary of Egypt - Desert Mother Canvas Print

A second original portrait from our studio of the desert's great penitent. St. Mary of Egypt fled her old life across the Jordan with three loaves of bread and lived forty-seven years on grace and almost nothing else — found at the end by the monk Zosimas, who came seeking a holier man than himself and met instead a woman the desert had made luminous.
