Fides — the eldest of the three sisters, daughters of St. Sophia, holy Wisdom, who each chose Christ over Caesar in Hadrian's Rome. Faith went first, twelve years old, leading the way as eldest children do. The Church has never forgotten the household where Wisdom raised Faith, Hope, and Love.
