About this edition

Devotions gathers the shorter devotional works of Saint Thomas Aquinas. Here are his expositions of the Lord's Prayer and of the commandments, his meditations upon the Blessed Sacrament, and the hymns he composed for the feast of Corpus Christi, which the Church has sung ever since.

It is a compilation of several distinct short works, not a single treatise, presented in two volumes in the public domain English of Father H. A. Rawes, D.D., 1879 to 1891, with the Eucharistic hymns named by their Latin incipits.
