About this edition
The moral teaching of St. Thomas Aquinas fills the Second Part of the Summa Theologica, the longest and most human part of that great work: it asks what the last end of man is, and how, through his acts and passions, his habits and virtues, and under law and grace, he may reach it.
In Aquinas Ethicus (1892) Joseph Rickaby, S.J., translated the principal portions of this teaching into clear English, keeping St. Thomas's own order of Questions and Articles and giving, for each Article, the master's own answer. His scholarly notes are omitted here for continuous reading.
This Sanctified Souls Press edition presents it in two volumes, as Rickaby issued it, on cream paper, for reading and keeping. It is one work in two volumes, not a compilation.

The general principles of the moral life: the last end and human happiness, human acts and the passions, habits, the virtues and vices, law, and grace. Paperback and hardcover, 290 pages.
