They are meant to be read slowly, a little at a time.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis Sanctified Souls Press edition gives all twenty-one complete and unabridged, in the 1872 English of M. R., on cream paper. A note in the front matter states plainly what scholarship has established: some of these pieces are genuinely Anselm's, and others are by his imitators or by earlier writers whom the manuscript tradition confused with him.
